Join me in a prayer for the safety of those struck by hurricane Katrina. I'm a Florida resident and, although I'm relieved we were spared the wrath of this particular storm, I feel for its victims.
When I wrote my romantic suspense Storms of the Heart, I put the characters in the middle of a category 3 hurricane. Little did I know how many hurricanes I was to experience first-hand in the years following that book's release.
