Dorothy Bodoin lives in Royal Oak, Michigan, with her blue merle
collie, Layla. Dorothy worked as a secretary for Chrysler Missile
Corporation for six years, two of which were spent in Italy. On
returning to the states, she attended Oakland University, earning
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English literature. For several
years she taught English in a Michigan high school before leaving
education to write full-time. She is the author of the Foxglove Corners
Cozy Mystery series, six novels of romantic suspense, and one Gothic
